Intentional October

As 2021 flies along, I have been feeling so much lighter and inspired, incorporating small, doable wellness tasks into my day. Starting my day with a simple goal in mind has helped me to feel more present and intentional with my days. The end result is that I feel more connected and calm, and - well - intentional.

Here are the four areas that I focused on in October. You could try one, or try all four. I have paired them with diffuser blends because you know me, my diffusers are always going, and essential oils bring so much benefit into my home.

That moment when you read a line that is so well written that you close the book and just stare at the wall for a minute. We all need more of those moments…

When everything is spinning out of control around us there is one thing you can control. Plan your days! Don’t allow the media or the social media frenzy to sabotage your good intentions.

Simply write three things down you wish to do the next day to improve the opportunity of actually making those things happen tenfold.

| Focus on your lunch without your phone |

This one can be tough…

Especially nowadays since so many of us work from our phones. Being present at meals is not only important for those you’re sharing your meal with in order to create connection and great conversation - it also aids in mindful eating.

Being unplugged so much this past summer and having a no phones at the dinner table really helped us foster this good habit. It’s not perfect but I’m aware and I think that's a good start.
